Hey guys not too sure if anyone would remember me, but i had a silver 04 wrx originally bought from ryan down in ewa. long story short i joined the military and ended up sellin her and flying out to the mainland. while im over here for training i bought a few used cars.

My first one was a 95 integra turbo, with a shoddy ebay turbo kit. Ended up reselling to a guy in another county because i hated the tuning issues and became spoiled with my wrx i had before!

Next was a 91 240sx that i had for the last few months ( ive been here for nearly a year now). Just sold her today mostly for profit, purchased originally for 1500, and with a new paint job and some elbow grease, sold her for 2500 lol!

Even after these cars, ive been craving for another subaru. Found a nice little DD, a 95 impreza coupe 1.8. Most likely picking it up soon, and maybe down the line, either swapping it out or just turboing the 1.8L!

To be honest, dont really know too much about the older gc imprezas, ive been only accustomed to the 04's! Ive done a little bit of research but im not really sure if parts from the 2.5 or 2.2 would be interchangeable on the 1.8... If anybody had some tips or 2 cents to throw in, itd be great! BTW ive met a bunch of people from hawaii here, so not too homesick just yet hahaha. Besides, ive registered on other forums (240sxforums, integra forums) and its funny how theyre mostly a bunch of asses or geniuses, easy to get flamed! At least us subaru guys wave to eachother!

Hey Bro.. If info is what your in need of for the older impreza... Go check out rs25.com. There's oodles of good guys and great info there on the GC impreza's. To be honest though id toss that 1.8L stat.. and The usdm 2.2L isn't worth your time either. Id say go for a ej205, ej255 or ej257 swap and call it a day... That's the money in those older cars. power to weight!!

 

cool man. yeah ive been looking on rs25 and ive been learning that the general consensus was to just swap in a big boy motor. I remember seeing some youtube vids of tubejoe69 and his impreza. I gotta check again but idk if it was a 1.8....
i gotta keep on the lookout for imprezas to swap!
