Auto-X Results

Can someone who put their email address down post the results for yesterdays Auto-X? I know my times, but just curious if I am still the slow guy.

Thanks

Your OA and PAX times placed you at 48 out of 60.

The results usually get posted at the following within a few days.

http://www.smart.net/~samurai/HUILA/frontpage.html

If you PM me your email address I'll be happy to forward the PDF file with the results.

Pm'd you back.

Thanks, man.

I saw your car parked on my way out right before lunch. Looks like I missed a few guys by not coming back after lunch, but my wife was happy to see me early

The results are up on the webpage. I managed to beat the feared Datsun 510 to take E-Prepared. Unfortunately, Jason beat me out for FSD (Fastest Subaru of the Day) - I'll have to work on that at the next event (assuming I'm able to make it). And of course the E-Prepared PAX is a killer - looks like I'll have to shift to Street Mod so I can inflate my ego with a better PAX ranking.

I don't know if it was a matter of me being tired coming to the event after being on duty for the previous 24hr, or if I was just "off", but I can't remember the last time I ran such an "unclean" event. I picked up a total of 4 cones on my first two runs, a DNF on my 3rd run, and then finally got a clean run in on my 4th. I normally don't pick up 4 cones in two events, let alone two runs, so I was pretty disappointed. Strangely enough, the results don't show any cones on my first run, but I know I looked back in my rear view mirror and saw at least 2 of the 4 cones in the very first slalom down, and I think I actually got 3 of the 4. Not a good way to start off the event!

If I do make the Jan 12th event that will be my last event for 6 months.

well, just so you know, Steve's 510 was not running right at all, expect to have to work a lot harder to beat his times.

That was probably Pat's Wagon. I stopped by later in the afternoon to drop off parts for Mitch. I had 2 parties that day so couldn't run. My 4 year old son got a kick out of watching some cars spin out or knock down cones by the gate during the fun runs.
I'll be out in January though and hopefully have my ECUTEK reflash by then....

Update: Shiv says my reflashed ECU goes out today

It was not such a great day

I have to agree, it must have been something in the air. I picked up a cone in both my 3rd and 4th run, (Very unlike me) not to mention that I was only getting stock levels of boost! CRAP! Something is wrong w/ my SBC ID, any suggetions out there? Before I reset it, I was getting 15.00-15.2 PSI of boost consistently in 1st and 2nd gear. On Saturday I was only getting 13.7-13.8.

Trust me, I was very surprised when I checked out the results page and saw that I was 1st in EP. I left near the beginning of the 3rd heat, and was too far away to hear the times he was running anyway, but I figured he would beat me.

I don't get to worried about that kind of thing - a fully-prepped race car should beat me, so it's no sweat off my back. I was just glad to see that I was near the top in raw times.
