I have been searching for a DP heatshield for the forester. And since they all share the same intercooler now, was wondering which ones you guiys installed. I have noticed steak got the SPT one, but when i go to subarugenuineparts, they only list up to 2007. I can't find a cobb one or the cusco one. Help please??
Thanks

I will be swapping it out with a perrin DP. I thought the IC design was different, hence the bolts where the IC bolts to the shield were in a different location. Was it a bolt on affair for you with no drilling?? Also, where did you get the heatshield from, so i can reference it?
Thanks!
Thanks!

i have a part # for the 2010 FXT E771SFG500 this is from the forester accrssories booklet
I wouldn't wrap the DP without a heatshield above it.
The heatshield that you put over the turbo that partially covers the bellmouth to the DP protects the turbo from rain coming from the hood scoop. If you don't have a heatshield and just wrap it then if it rains the water not only hits the turbo (cracking) but also soaks into the wrap.

imo you should do both. cut the stock heatshield to fit and get that spt joint. that way you have the good stock heat shield and the spt one to make it look nice
thats what i plan to do if i ever do a dp
