I'm PDIC open water certified and haven't been scuba since I finished my classes! It's good fun, maybe I'll jump in on this.

 

To bad can't bring a gun or even a 3 prong is be down

 

If you guys are interested my stepdad is a divemaster and he usually takes people out on Saturdays for about $45 a person. I can ask him about chartering the boat if you guys want to do a group rate. I haven't been down in a while so would be fun.

 

totally down - i havent done a dive in a bit cuz no one to go with; chartered dive would be > than typical shore dives i end up doing

What's all this, going down don't require scuba gear, only Oh, & don't free dive if the ocean smells fishy, if you know what i mean!

 

ok so here's what he said. it's $500 to charter the boat for 2 dives, about an hour each dive. gotta have your own equipment and tanks but i'm gonna look into that too since we are good friends with a dive shop. the boat can take 33 people. so if we get more than 10 people it's less than $50 for the day. you could come along and free dive if you want but it's gonna be about 50-60ft to the bottom. normally you need to pay for a divemaster but my stepdad will do it for us free so we save about $15-25 a person. anyways if you guys are "down" get a list going and once we get at least 10 we can do this. wives/gf's are welcome to come along and get wet or tan since there will be extra room on the boat. also there will be a camera if you want pics as my stepdad loves taking them. shoots
