Its posted on the link above, but I bought the car from him and found out that the throwout bearing went out on the freeway. I just want some refund to fix the clutch and the necessary things along with it. He changed his phone #. FML. He lives around Honolulu side.

what i can see is false advertisment on the headlights and maybe you can try to get him to pay for it or take him to court for it. And if you guys had a verbal agreement that the car is in perfect shape and condition (he said cherry) so it seems like it should have been in pristine condition, I would try to take him to court and get money back.

The guy prob thought they were jdm headlights because someone told him they were jdm.
Fix it and move on. If you aren't intelligent enough to spot a rip-off, and paid over 9k for an 02 it sounds like a personal problem.
Take it as paying for a life lesson, and do better next time.

If someone says, "it's all cherry brah, A/C blow cold" I take it as, "it is a turd, but the A/C works".
In my experiences, unless you are buying a "slam" civic or a nissan hardbody, the term cherry has very little credibility.

Court is for poons. "Cherry" is a slang term that is mostly taken as an opinion. If you are used to a 93 ford escort, nearly any wrx is cherry.
