I sold the STi and now have the trans am as a daily. I want a cheap car now so the wear and tear can come to a minimum.

Otherwise, anyone have a good running car under $4000 they want to part with? Doesn't have to look pretty or be a subaru, just good driving condition. Thanks!

 

If I remember correctly, this looks a lot like an auction car I saw up at IAA a few weeks back. Guy bought it for $1500. Sounded good, was a donated vehicle, and paint isn't bad.

..assuming this is the same car.

 

2nd gens are nice but headgasket issues are big problem. I have a 1st gen and 3rd gen. Avoided the 2nd gens like the pelage unless it was an H6.
