anyone know......

where to get rotors cut? maybe checkers? napa? i have drilled brembo rotors that need to be cut due to, i'm thinking, thickness variation from uneven pad deposit. my steering wheel vibrates when i'm braking at highspeeds. anyone had this problem?

i had the same problem on an old car of mine and changing the pads and getting the rotors reserfaced did solve the problem. i think this has been brought up b4 and there are plenty of good places. just search around a bit.

Carquest does it but i forgot how much they charged me. I don't believe it was too much. I had mine done by Carquest by the Kalihi post office.

Hopefully that and not an Alignment or something so simple like tire pressure or uneven tire wear

no, i'm pretty sure it's thickness variation, and i'm guessing it's from my right side caliper because when i was changing them out it felt like the caliper is sticking to the rotor. it was pretty hard to pull off and put on, not like the left side. the left side comes right off with ease. so my best guess is that since the caliper is sticking to the rotor, the deposits became embedded on it. i hate troubleshooting. thanks guys for the info.

just have your rotors resurfaced- that should take care of the pulsating problem. Checkers should be able to cut them. when you reinstalled your rims make sure that you torque them accordingly to avoid future problem. if the pulsation still persist have it check out at by a Subaru shop.
