Local technical discussion.

email messages

If this should create too much of an uproar, I'll just discontinue it.

woah, now!

Calm down.

I think what you guys are missing is that Pat wanted to be able to talk about technical issues and topics with the Hawaii guys, but you keep moving his posts and insisting he puts them in the technical forum. I don't know about you guys, but I hardly ever go to other forums. I like my local group of guys and I trust their judgement on parts. I know who is really an expert or who is just sitting at a keyboard trying to convince people they know what they're talking about. I don't have that ability/privledge in other forums.
Many other people surf the Hawaii forum because they know there is a lot of experience here. It's just like having a no BS technical forum with just the experts around to talk about real results and issues.

I understand the yahoo forum thingy, but I don't agree.
However, understanding is the key to not freaking out and losing one's temper.

well, I talked with Pat. I believe he at least understands where Alex is coming from now.
The "rules" of the forum really haven't been enforced b/c of the "big switch", .... but there's gotta be some kind of organization.

If you want to ask a tech question to the HI guys, ... just post in the correct forum, and then post a link to it here @ HIIC. I know at least I will go check it out and post over there. You know, we used to flame people for posting in the wrong forum, but since the "big switch", the long standing rules just haven't been enforced yet.
