Anyone have experience with fixing A/C in cars?

Anyone have experience with fixing aircondition in cars? i'm trying to fix my dads car because his fuel pump for the A/C but have no clue, and been trying to find the book on how to's at checkers, any help is appreciated, thanks

i'm not really sure, but the fuel that gets injected so the a/c actually works, is broken i'll read up the diagnostic that my dad got, thanks richard

Do you mean the refrigerant? What year/make/model is your Dad's car?

you might have a leak in your lines and there is no coolant. Or your compressor for the a/c might just be bad already. I do a/c for a career so if i take a look at it might be able to figure out what is wrong.

my dads car is a 1993 mazda 929, the car is terrible, it breaks down several times, and one time, they brought it to a shop where my parents suppose to know like family and they totalled ripped them off and replaced a bunch of parts, the place is called Sum's auto and repair, never go to them, it was just crazy the list of parts they replaced on that car....

Heheheh. Old Mazdas weren't the most reliable things in the world. I had a friend whose family used to swear by Mazdas (even though they had money). Suffice it to say after some really bad experiences in the early 90's they all drive BMW's now.
