Think that's your boost control solenoid.

Richard is an ASE certified mechanic. I'd go with his statement. My question is do you have a boost controller? and if so, you may want to double check to see if installed correctly.

Richard is right, I just looked it up.

something about your wastegate solenoid having a low circuit. Or something to that effect.

Like Jayson said, if you have a MBC double check that it's installed right, and the manual says to check the plugs around the solenoid maybe it backed out...

that could be why you have a cel. how come you took it out? IIRC peeps with EBC's take them out, cuz the EBC comes with it's own. And some people get cels from doing that.

I could be wrong though.

Mario,

Even though I told you that the code was 'SAE', Oakos Automotive has it posted as the same result:

P0245 Wastegate control solenoid valve circuit low input.

http://www.oakos.com/wrx/obdiicodes.htm

Apparently, there are 4 OBDII standards, SAE J1850 PWM(GM cars and light trucks), SAE J1850 VPW(Ford), ISO 9141-2(Chrysler products and all European and most Asian imports), and ISO 14230-4(VW, Audi, BMW, Daewoo Leganzas and Nubiras, Hyundai and Kia Optimas)

Mario,

Here is an excerpt from the Vishnu Stage Zero install manual. These are complete instructions for putting in the MBC. Notice there is no removal of the factory Boost controller. I know you have a TXS controller, but an MBC is an MBC is an MBC. You still need a factory EBC as far as I know.
-Greg
Now comes the installation. Locate the factory black rubber boost control hose. It runs from the turbocharger’s compressor housing to the turbocharger’s wastegate actuation. In the middle, there is a plastic “T” that runs another rubber line to the boost control solenoid (which is mounted under the little removable plastic panel just below your passenger-side shock tower. All the hoses on that “T” are held in place by little clamps. With a set of needle-nose pliers, pull back all those clamps (3 of them). Now, disconnect the hose from the wastegate actuator nipple (there should be another clamp there too). Next, disconnect the “T” from the hose that runs to the compressor output nipple. At this point, the only hose that is connected is the short hose that runs from the compressor outlet nipple. The rest of the plumbing can now be tucked out of the way. To do this, just fold it back and clamp it under the big plastic toothed clamp that sits near the stock tower. Now, install the MBC by inserting its silicon hose section into the wastegate actuator nipple. The other end (the brass nipple portion) needs to be inserted into the short rubber line that is still connected to the compressor outlet nipple. Get it? If not, check out the diagram at the end of the instructions.
