I know. It's a weak show and this is a weak thread. However, I did find this amusing.

Anyhow, in an episode where a Camaro races a Mustang, one of the guys is Tony from Chicago. The show is really full of anticlimax and low on drama. No one loses their car.

Turns out, though, that this guy Tony goes around the country calling folks out with the challenge of "who wants to get clipped". He and his 'crew' only street race. They'll put their car in a trailer, travel to anywhere, prep the street with VHT and then film it. There's obviously a lot of smack talking. Here's a video clipRight click/save as

What's funny is the guy comes onto the local (Indianapolis) website looking for some action; again a lot of sh*t talking occurs, but apparently nothing every comes of it.

i've seen the show a couple of times, and yes it is weak.

most of the time, all the guys do is complain and make excuses.

 

Yes, they definately complain alot .

 

Just saw that episode tonite , no one lost their car , just alot of trash talking . not very entertaining .

or what about that show on MTV's trick it out, i watch it...but i'd rather watch overhaulin with Chip Foose and the gang....

did ya'll see the one where this civic racaed a trans am... i think the civic made like 600whp and the trans am made 627 bhp.. and the civic asked the guy for a 20 car head start... and he still lost.. and the guy with the trans am had no second gear.. that was ridiculous.. what a shame.. who asks for a 20 car head start? makes hondas look bad..

 

Yeah , I saw that episode , the civic had a b18c5 turbo charged with race slicks . It looked like he was out-classed from the beginning . The other driver seemed to be more experienced . I still can't believe he asked for 20 car lenghts .
