Sorry to resurrect my dead thread, but what springs would slightly lower and improve the handling using STOCK WRX struts? and what other supporting add-ons would help the ride height and longevity of the struts/springs?
EDIT: or should I be looking to get some used STI struts?

All three (Eibach Pro Kit, Prodrive, and STi pinks) are stock strut friendly. You shouldn't have any problem with them. I don't know about the SPT springs, though. I think I'm going to change my Eibachs out with Prodrives, I do snow driving and want aliittle extra ground clearance myself.

Mark has a set ready to go with Prodrive springs...

The drop is perfect with little to no rear end sag...Prodrive drops are known for their even stance...spring rate works very well with stock wrx and sti struts...

With the Prodrives...
you get about a 2 finger gap...front and rear...seems to be about perfect if you don't like scraping your front end...or your mid-pipe flange...I had the Prodrive setup on my STI before I picked up my Cusco's...awesome!
I have about a 1 finger gap now with Cusco coilovers...and scrape occasionally if I am not careful...usually by myself, I seldom scrape...but with two in the car...it scrapes more often...that is about as low as I am going to go...for a daily driver.
I experimented around quite a bit with heigths...since this is my daily driver, I wanted to lower it as much as possible without scraping...I'm pretty close to where I want to be now and since I bought new tires and aligned all four corners...will leave it alone...
Cars been running great...-1 degree front and -1.5 rear camber...didn't want to get too aggressive in the front (dang tires cost too much) and the rear needed -1.5 to clear the rears comfortably (+43 offset 18x8 with 225/40/18 Potenza RE-750's). Will be putting 235 or 245 on after I decide to roll my rear fenders...
