Something doesn't seem right, that's for sure.

It could have been a N/A MKII Supra Auto, w/ a 65 year old driver????

46k??? Holy **** I really hope thats incorrect cuz if someone I knew paid that much for it I'd slap them.....even though I think the Evo is a cool car. But then again I've heard a lot of crap about Mitsubishi dealers here.....and their salesmen at the last new car show pretty much turned me off. Talking all this crap about people willing to pay this much, or that much, and how it was the greatest car at the show (did they not see the orange pearl NSX down the way???). But hey...I swear two Evos were sitting on the lot in Pearl City for almost a month.....

But this could be fun....I might have to try and make it out there

Yep $46k is about what the dealers here are asking for it. One of our new STi owners (808STi?) went in there ready to pay cash for it and was quoted just under $40k before adding on tax, lic, doc etc.. He walked out and is now the proud (and happy) owner of a STi.

"Speed gear would like to tape us racing. If that is ok with you? We will be there all are cars even our TL-S. At least this is after the show so I don't have to worry as much. Thanks really looking foward to this."

A PM from the EVO owner.

So everyone needs to come to the track day to watch me get beat by the EVO Maybe????

yo,

well i gotta a ride in the red evo last night at the rice cruise and let me tell you it is nice. volk LE37's in gunmetal on tein flex coilovers with a blitz sus intake, greddy ebc and blitz bov.

the guy took me around the block a couple times and i was pretty impressed. he was hitting 23 pounds of boost which felt very smooth, although i don't see the motor lasting very long with that kind of boost.

sitting in the passenger seat what i really liked was the way it stuck through turns. the car didn't feel like it had any undrsteer and just pulled through the turns.

what was fun was seeing an s2k and the evo going at it. another thing that impressed me was how the s2k was with him the whole time. not sure how much of that was driver or car.

my friend in the s2k said the evo didn't pull on him but that my wrx pulled on his s2k when we went at it. i didn't get a chance to pull with the evo but it makes me wonder what wes, jayson, richard or even pat's car would do against the evo. btw, my car is running like crap now. hopefully not for long!

can't wait for track day to see what happens!
