I just moved back home from Las Vegas. Just wanted to know if there are any Subies here on Kauai other than the rentals all the haoles are driving.

Hit me up. I drive the black FXT on goldies. I live in Wailua but have friends down on the westside. Down for some Mauka runs? I met pretty much all the other Subie (other than the rentals) owners on Kauai. I can count them on just over one hand, ha ha.

 

Eh, my friend and I (both Subie drivers) spotted your car last night in front of the Waimea theaters. We were coming back from the drags in Mana. Looking good.

Does it count if I have a place on the Northshore in "Haoleville"... but live here in Oregon with my Suby? Nope, didn't think so :-(

 

Yeah, I was at my friends house next to the theater. Was the drags any good? And what happened I saw about 6 cop cars driving down there that night.

 

Hmmm....idk, left early. I do know that sometimes, the cops go down there to chill, ha ha. I didn't get to drag my car b/c i came too late (from work), but Doug (black '06 STi) hit a 13.4@99 last night.

I say it was pretty good b/c it wasn't crowded. Sport compact class had little bit people, as well as street class, so those rounds went by fast. Muscle V8 and up had choke cars though.

 

Yeah something was going on. They were driving down there light and sirens on 6 of them.

I saw that STi going down there in the morning.

Let me know when you guys are wrenching, I can try and help out. I got some knowledge.

 

I will be moving to Kauai on 1/17...I will be working at PMRF in Kekaha and living in Waimea...It is great to see another Suby owner in Kauai...I have a 06 CGM WRX wagon...I am really excited about the move. Woo hoo! Wagon! I know the other Subie owners on Kauai. We have 5 more bugeye WRXs (one is a wagon), 4 STis, 2 GM6s, 2 FXTs, 1 Baja Turbo, and 1 SVX.

Yep...this is me...How goes it??. I am shipping my wagon and household goods on 1/16 and flying in to Lihue on 1/17. I don't start my new job until 1/29. I can give you a buzz when I get situated. I will be living in Waimea as soon as I get my first check...ITT is putting me up in a condo for 30 days until my stuff arrives...
