I got a call from one of the guys at TFTs asking if we were going to participate this year. I guess they think I am still in charge of this. I'll pass his info to you guys since you have taken over all the charity drives for the club. It's awesome to see that something we started with TFTs years ago as a way to brhappiness to kids (and comraderie for ourselves) is still a big hit. Thanks guys for putting i-Club and the Subie commnity in the spotlight as such a good organization!
-Everyone should Thank Ted as he came up with the idea. Im just the man behind the man working behind the scene. Right Ted, "VANISH INTO THE MIST"!!

lol, don't take your ninja moves to another level, because i can't keep up!
but on a serious note: if you haven't attended this charity cruise yet, well this is high time that you show your support to the community. i know times are tough and the economy is beat, but this gives us more reason to give out to these charitable institutions because they are hurting as much as all the other institutions are with their donations on the decline. a couple of toys that you could drop off will bring smiles to the needy kids.
on top of that, you will get to hang out with everyone and have lots of fun!

ok, guys and gals, walter and I were just talking about what we are going to do after dropping off the toys at Kaneohe Marine Base and decided that we are going to do what we did last year...a potluck! so on this note, i will be starting the list and will be updating it regularly. please bring your own chairs
.
here's what we need:
folding tables - i know Walter has one, but we need one more.
portable tent - Chris and Sue (808subaru)
RC cars for entertainment? -
plates, fork, napkins, and cups -
hibachi and coal -
cooler, ice -
drinks - h20, soda, juice
rice and dessert - ted (heheh, sorry i'm making the list)
hotdogs and buns -
chili -
noodles -
chicken (i.e. shoyu, katsu or adobo?) - chris (substitude)
mochiko chicken - elway (Aeros)
beef (teriyaki, brocolli, or steak?) -
salad (macaroni or greens?) -
if i missed anything, please let me know. for now, i think this is a basic list of what we need in the potluck department. if you want to bring anything else other than what i listed, please chime in. i know we have some pro chefs here.

I'll pick up a large pan of spicy garlic chicken from En Fuego. Anyone care to split the cost with me ($60 total... so $30 each)?
If anyone else decides to order anything from their catering menu PM me so we can put our order(s) in together & I'll try to go pick them up all at the same time (depending on how many people order) when they open at 10am.
Thanks Ted & Walt for your time & efforts!
