Am i getting ripped off by servco subaru?
i just bought me a fuel filter for 32$ and i check subarugenuine site and its half the price. I know you be thinking you should of order it online but didn't want to wait. Ripoff?

...dog, you can get an identical fuel filter at checkers for like 10 bucks i think. at any rate its nowhere near 32 dollars.... is that including installation from servco or just the part?

i think better qustion would be did you research ahead to know if you were getting ripped off? i mean if it's half the price on subaruparts then you should have ordered it from them. it's hit or miss buying parts from the dealer whether or not they are going to charge you a huge markup. live and learn but i say if your obviously willing to pay that then i would charge $32 for the part as well.

Yup,..I think that SubaruParts ships UPS Ground and you'd pay about the same price. I miss having to know of a mainland Service/parts department that would ship USPS Priority mail for like $5 for what the part is worth and not at 100% markup ie. a $100 for $200. When I had my Mitsu GSX, tallahasee mitsu shipped for me USPS, even had a software program that I could type my VIN and have all the part numbers for me (from VFAQ)...
