Accessport help

As some of you may know I've had an issue with my car not making boost since I loaned my boost controller to a friend. I have it back now and I want to reflash my ecu. So I plugged in the accessport and went to reflash and connected the green test wires. Problem is that it just sat on test mode for ten minutes and told me to connect the test wires. Is there a length of time you have to wait or did I **** something up? Help please.

The process only takes a few mins,You may have locked the ecu.The other issue i do not understand is you took your boost controller(EBCS)? out of the car? Did you drive it like that? And from what i understand you need to have a dyno tune for that not just flash with a Cobbb AP.Im sure someone will chime in on this..

Ok. Yes I took the controller out, stupid I know. The tune I'm trying to reflash is the same tune the ecu has already. Just trying to dummy check everything incase something might has gotten messed up.

My friend borrowed just the boost controller unit. The wiring to the car where the stock controller goes was still installed. All I've done was connect the ap and test wires. The battery was unplugged while I was underway.

as long as you set it back to the the correct settings and didn't touch the solenoid then there shouldn't be a problem. reset the ecu, make sure the test connectors are plugged in well, and try it again. if you still can't then see if you can try another AP.

You only connect those two plugs under the dash when you marry the AP to the ECU...to flash in real time maps, you just plug the AP in and reflash...when you are done marrying the AP, you need to make sure you disconnect the plugs.

You didn't un-marry the AP right?

From what i understand the battery should be hooked up and says that the radio other misc heater etc to be shut off while using the AP.

Nope. Connected the ap then the test plugs then ran the reflash. Which just sat on test mode for ten minutes.

If the AP was already married to the ECU, you did not have to re-connect the connectors. Just Plug in your AP and flash your map...make sure those connectors are disconnected.
