it's 5 speed, 73,270 miles, blue 2 door. 2.2L flat four they want $6,990. just letting the public know seeing as how everyone wants a throwback car. i'd go for it, but callmecrazy would say no, so someone should adopt this car!!!

Buy it for her.

....and I think there is MUCH room for dickering on that price.

Do you still have a GC? I can picture it in my mind, but don't remember if it was GC8, GM6... I only saw it once, I think, at SG (aka Vakamon). Yours was probably what pushed me over the edge and made me want a GC8.

GC8 is a non-american 4 door WRX of the older body style. GM6 is my car, 2001 2.5RS Coupe. I just sold a '95 AWD 5spd Impreza coupe before I moved back here, and it sold within 13 minutes of posting the ad for asking price, cash ($2500). Guess I coulda got more... I need to sell my RS, but I spent so long searching for it and spent a lot of money on new parts. Can't bring myself to do it, but I need a truck.

pat, i got a wagon, but always wanted a GC or older impreza. callmecrazy wants a legacy gt, and she cannot understand why i would buy a GC over the current GDA/GDB models that i currently own. i always wanted to build a clean GC, but i think i'm in the process of a major career change, and that might end me going back to school, so i guess i need to save up for tuition. buying this car and selling mine would save me a lot of dough though!! i suspect that someone could pickup this car for around $6000, maybe even less. i would say private party kbb lists at $4700, and the dealer kbb price is $7300, so somewhere in the middle would be fair price to ask.

808, I apologize.

I'm guessing then that you weren't the guy I met when we had the corner-balance/alignment day at SpeedGear. I could've sworn we've met, though.

THAT'S RIGHT!

Not the record run, but the ~12.5 or 12.7 @ 113 or so, right?

I didn't know that.

You know, I've got an '01, but mines a sedan. All I know is that my VIN says GC6.

My WRX wagon says GG2. I know that can't be right. Wagons are either GGA or GGB, right?

Yeah, GC - sedan, GM - coupe. The 8 was the WRX, but we never got the WRX in that body darn it. I don't remember what anything past this is. I don't remember what my '03 WRX was either. I dunno.

I know all about blowby. That's why my '02 still has 18k miles on it.

Should be up and running soon.

Dunno, whatever kbb.com says for private party I guess. Have to look it up and make sure. 5spd, 64k miles, leather, new Porterfield R4-S brake pads, stock wheels w/ 4k mile 225/50-16 S-03s, ScoobySport can, Swain coated Borla header, 4k mile Exedy sport clutch + light flywheel, kartboy shifter and lotsa recent all OEM Subaru parts. Still would much rather sell my Celica, so we'll see. Just need a truck dang it.

An example of a prime GM6
