yeah it sucks but life goes on fortunately for me the STI setup will live on in my GC

Day 4
-finished up the cleaning, treating and sealing of the rust under the battery tray with Por 15. I plan on painting the whole engine next week to make it look better, kinda funny having a multi colored engine bay.
-properly mounted/found a way to make the STI rear sway mounts/Cusco sway bar and whiteline bushings to work on the GC. ***** I made it work and it is cherry.
-removed front bumper and lip to sell off of the STI.
-removed FMIC off of STI to sell, going back to TMIC. APS to be specific.

Day 6
-Removed front subframe from STI
-Removed carpeting out of STI
-Pried the front passenger door open (smashed in due to accident)
-separated engine harness and anything connected to the motor and tranny in preparation for the engine to be pulled

Day 7
-removed the entire wiring harness from the STI (engine, dash, and then some)
-removed dash and dash beam
-removed heater and AC core
-removed radiator and AC condensor
-cut away the radiator support beam for easy access to pull the engine and trans
-removed dash and dash beam

Interesting way of dropping the engine. How are you putting back the support beams and such? Welding?
I need to gat deployed to teh sand so I can come home to projects like this too, lol.

From what I gathered, he cut the radiator support on the sti. Not the gc. So there won't be any need to put it back.
