I don't get it.
1. So the Forrester models that they had brought out for 07-08 are all gone. With the sti wheels and front lip, etc., gone. And WTH is "turbo-type" wheels??

2. The impreza 2.5GT costs more than the wrx that has 40ish more whp/wtq.

I'm just in awe. What's with all these different models? They are really pissing people off i would think. If 2010 doesn't bring the legacy sti, i'm jumping ship.

the impreza 2.5gt is only coming in only auto and the wrx is only stick now maybe thats the price difference i liked the 07-08 forester

 

I am wanting to get back into s Suby and the wife and I finally found a 09 that we agree on it's a Pearl white, 5spd wagon I don't want nav or any of the other add ons I'll just do those myself. Ever since I told her I was gonna pay off her TSX and get myself something other than my 92 GTI NOW she wants a new car to bad I'm going to tell her that I will agree to getting her this car but the first of the year I am going to get some wheels and drop it..

 

ok for the 08 FXT sport (like the wrb one greg brought to the meet) was the 10th anniversery special.

the 2.5gt is a AT turbo car now. (aka AT WRX 02-08) now all wrx's are ONLY 5speeds. plus the auto cost more the the MT trans and the AT is only come in one package and it has everything here but nav. (this is in hawaii)

 

Idk if I'll ever really be digging the new models...I'm alright w/the new Fozzy, for an everyday vehicle.

I'm liking the '04/'05 years the best for Subaru (Forester XT and STi).

 

I especially like how the battery hold down and oil cap are performance items. I wish Subaru would offer things like mini cooper does, build a car on that site.

 

a black 09 wrx drove past me as i was walking in a parking lot. i could hear the subaru boxer engine , but not the rumble since there was no exhaust. however, i glanced and thought it was a legacy spec.b

thats gotta be saying something about the newly refined wrx, with the power of an STI (if not better)

I drove by the sand island holding lot today and saw several STIs parked out there. Are those the 09s? I'm thinking not because the white ones I saw out there looked AW.

yeh we got the 09 wrx's already. i sold 2 of them and we have 2 left in the base model 1 a sedan and another in a hatch and we got 1 GT in a hatch and a prem. pkg hatch also

 

The 09 WRX looks like a nice car, but I only have 35K on my 02 bugeye and have two other toys that each make way more power/torque. How's it going Shaggy?
