can someone that owns an 2004 STI take their shift console area off and tell me what the part number is for it?
It is right under the words "MADE IN JAPAN"
mine says 92122FE010

Is the piece part of the entire shifter? I'm getting a short shifter and removing my factory shifter...if this part is removed...its yours. I'm not sure though...have to wait until Sunday. LMK.

nope... it's where the shift boot is...
it's that black plastic piece that the silver STI shifter trim is on. I need you to look under that black piece and tell me what the part number is.
