I recently installed an exhaust on my car. Downpipe (thanks Roy) and Cat-back (thanks Dean). I think it might be leaking, cannot tell though. I was an idiot and didnt change the turbo outlet gasket (planning on doing that soon.) So my noob question is will a leak cause damage to my car? Should I not drive it 'till I change the gasket?
Thanks,
Dan

If your heat shield is off you can *carefully*place your hand near the flange to feel for a small exhaust leak. I reused my gasket a couple times and have no leaks.

also, i dont think it will be a big problem since its after the turbo but you might still want to change out that gasket at your next convienence.

Ok, I don't mean to hi-jack the thread but it is downpipe gasket related. Is there a way to remove the turbo w/o unbolting the downpipe?? You know like take out the turbo w/ the downpipe connected. I just put in my downpipe and I'll have to order and install my up-pipe sooner that expected (due to Richard coming to town). THX~!!
