[Help] With all the Defi users...

Anyone knows how to reset/turnoff the warning peep for the oil pressure gauge? It's getting a lil annoying... if there are plugs to pull (safely), I'll even do that.

here you go. you can use this to lower the warn level

but I do agree that when you turn the key on it does get annoying to have the beep... other than removing the sensor from the control unit i don't think there is a way to remove the noise

Car Info: 04 sti now pulling hard but super greasy!!
what about just ripping out the thing that actually beeps...????lol what is it?? a little relay or speaker???

i think the beep is actually coming from the control unit and not the gauge itself so that would mean you have to open it up. The warn is for all gauges daisy chained together on the control unit so if you remove that then you won't have warn for other sensors you need it for like EGT

yeah, i need to tone down mines too...i can't play my music when the car is off without hearing this high-pitched beep. there are times i wish i could yank it out...lol...

Like iNFek said, just adjust the warning level. Of course that defeats the whole purpose. I'm reminded of the movie Platoon where the line is "Shut up and take the pain"!
