My Experience

Gruppe-s has been my savior, especially Mike. My STi has been plagued with problems since the beginning of my build. From 3 sets of faulty cams from DPR to leaky valves they have just helped me through it all.

I would recommend anyone looking for a wonderfully dedicated tuner to go to gruppe-s.

Thanks for saving me guys! Can't wat to finally have my car finished.

Thumbs up Base run on the dyno on 6/10/2006

First of all I just purchased a Cobb AP and I used the 91 octane stage 2 of the shelf map. I'm currently running a Modded HKS downpipe to bellmouth,Injen CAI and a HKS HiPower exhaust.I brought my car to Gruppe-S on Saturday to get ProTuned because of the whole leaning out issue with the cold air intake. Mike at Gruppe-S did 3 base runs and he walked up to me and told me that my cold air intake was leaning out the car just a little bit and he just suggested to put the stock airbox back to solve the issue. With the three base runs my car hit 273.9 awhp @ 6000rm and 274.7 torque @ 4000rpm consistently. He said by putting the stock airbox the torque would be bumped up to around 285 torque!! At the end he didnt want to charge me to ProTune it cuz he thought it was a waste of money and that putting the airbox back would just be the quick fix and I'll be all good. So my whole experience at Gruppe-S was kick *** because of Mikes honesty. I totally recommend them to everyone. Not alot of shops would be as honest as he was. Again thanks alot Mike I appreciate the honesty. -Ed Flores
