Ok so im getting my tail lights tinted and my windows, only thing thats gonna be left thats ugly is the chrome strip between the tail lights.


Has anybody changed this or painted it?

Any tips on how to take it off?

you can buy a painted bar from subaru.

 

go to 3gwrx.com a ton of people have either painted it or put a pre painted one on. Just do a search.

 

really? ****ers, dealership told me they dont sell em. both santa cruz and stevens creek.

its all about how much you want to spend on one piece of plastic to ave it painted, or how much you want to pay for a new one color matched to your color.

Do a search on 3g, i know people were saying were they bought there strips at.

i have a sedan, not a hatch. and im getting mine painted.

 

ive just found that doing a majority of your own leg work goes along way. I know for a fact people said were they bought theres. there are a few DIYs on painting it.

I'm not sure if I mind the chrome that much, the lights need to be tinted or reddened, but the chrome isn't bad.

I can't believe they bump the cost $140 for painting....ridiculous
