FXT power potential

Since the FXT shares almost identical powerplant as the STi's. Most of the performance parts for STi should be direct bolt on or interchangeble. So to make the FXT to go fast should be just as easy as modifying the STi. However, since I don't own a FXT yet, I am just guessing and assuming that most parts should fit. If I am wrong, please correct me.

So Lets make a list of the WRX/STi power mods that will fit or should fit for the FXT:

I will go first...

1) IHI VF series turbos.
2) turbo downpipes.
3) cat-back systems (maybe hanger locations are different?)
4) STi ECU
5) injectors
6) intercooler
7) fuel pump
8) CAI intake systems
9) ?

I will edit the post as the thread goes along.

FXT has the same stock uppipe as the STi, IIRC.

Has anyone done a twin scroll setup on an FXT yet? That sounds ideal to me.

That will be interesting. It should definitely gain much more low-end response and gobs of torque.

So is the FXT uppipe catted or not?

I've heard the injectors are already the same as the STi.

STi up pipe has no pre cat the F-XT does, but the STi one will fit I understand.

Going to a stage 2 Cobb is a nice bump in power:
