Terrible noise!

So i took my 04' forester XS (5speed) on a little rallycross adventure 2 weeks ago. I should've bought a skid plate but now i have learned the hard way. When i am driving and i am not on the throttle or the brakes (basically coasting but in gear) i hear a knocking noise. AT first i thought it was the wheel bearings but the dealership told me this isnt so. I thought it might be the differential because the car was kind of bottomed out. Its tough to describe the sound but its just a knocking VERY similar to bad wheel bearings. So if anyone can help me that'd be good thanks.

Are you sure it's not the exhaust hittig something under the car? Maybe you bent it up a little somewhere and it's hitting somewhere. Maybe if you get under there and look to see where it might be close and any shiny spots on the metal? Also ask over at www.subaruforester.org Lots of rally x people there might be able to help.

Sounds like a differential whine to me. Did you bottom out or anything?

Yea i must've bottomed out, i know its not the exhaust though. I took the car apart and i've relized i have a bent strut. I hope this will fix the problem.
