Talking Air Intake for a 05 FXT

so i'm planning on buying a short ram intake for my forester. I was wondering if i need to get it tuned? if i dont what will happen. Will it make it faster tuned?? or lag on air going through. let me know thanks!!!

Short Ram intake (without a tune) will only make your car have a louder turbo noise. If you're trying to make it "faster", save up to get a VF##, new up pipe, down pipe, and an accessport.

THEN go get it tuned.

But realistically... you should be more worried about suspension/handling before making that car faster.
