Engine/Power - non turbo (All non turbo Imprezas) Who needs a turbo when you have 2500cc? Cams, intakes, exhausts, etc. The 2.2L and 1.8L Subies are cool too.

Question WRX brake + strut bar mod

I have a 2002 RS and trying to get a strut bar to fit, I bought the Cusco type OS but apparently the AC hose cannot be moved down to allow the strut to fit, so is there anything else that will fit?
Also I wanna get the WRX 4-piston caliper, do I need any adapter/bracket or will it fit right in? Anyone has done this?

You are not wrong, the bracket just needs to be unbolted from the mount.

Why a thumbs down? CUSCO never designed this bar to fit the NA Impreza... That's why you gotta modify some **** to make it fit.

Actually the Cusco os doesn't really fit on the WRX either without moving the AC hose. As stated above. you will have to move it in and downwards. It wasn't too hard I did it with just simple hand tools.

I simply loosened the nut, spun the clamp from above the nut to BELOW the nut ~ voila! Might have taken 2 minutes. Must be something else ~ this is FAR too obvious, eh?

I agree thumbs back up for a good product!!!
