Engine/Power - non turbo (All non turbo Imprezas) Who needs a turbo when you have 2500cc? Cams, intakes, exhausts, etc. The 2.2L and 1.8L Subies are cool too.

wrecked my 06 impreza

Well this is a sad week indeed, on the 26th i was driving both my kids home at 7:00 at night. making a left hand turn onto my ex-wifes road a lady in an 06 accord with no headlights on, headed south on US 1 (55 MPH speedlimit) hit me on Passenger side front. All my car was fine with bumps and bruises but nothing major. As i was told the passenger door did not even cave into the cabin and my sons side airbag deployed saving his face if not his life.
the driver of the accord and her passenger did not fair as well, both have tendon dmaags and the driver has serious internal injuries.
having been through back surgery just 3 weeks ago i as well was very lucky to have bought a subaru, cause if i had been in my old car i would no longert have a son and would be back in the hospital for certain. they tell you about all the sadftey features, but i assure you They WORK and am now a firm subaru buyer.
now i have to decide what to get next, might bump it up to a wrx but not sure, wife has a legacy so might get a legacy gt, abny advice form you all?

WOW! I am glad you faired well as well as your kids. I agree with the Legacy, but an STI sure does sound nice too. I hope they don't charge you with fault on this one BTW.

I, also for Legacy... it's a nice family car with performance and of course, safety features.

Sorry to hear about the accident, but glad you made it out alright.
I'd go for the Legacy for the luxury factor
