Well I have been dealing with the guys at injen for about four years..... So I really trust there word. They also have an in house dyno so I know they got the time to do it.. lol Well I have not driven the car yet. Well I have not been able to drive the car yet, but I will tell you this. We have had the Subaru wagon for the past month and the biggest thing I hear from my g/f is the lack of HP... We should have got a WRX.. blah blah blah... She is a power freak!!! Anyways she picked up the car and she called me and her first words were not hello. They were HOLLY ****..... The car pulls hard and stronge and it sounds great.... SO I can't wait to drive it cause shes telling me that the powere improvement is incredable for only being an intake... So screw the dyno chart, knowing how my girl is, I am already impressed with it....

Here goes my finding with the Injen cold air.... When I sat in the car and turned the key I did come across a rattle. Turned out being that I had to adjust the pimp a little cause it was rubbing on something.. lol Well the drive came next and I had to say I have been in car with intakes and noticed such a diffrence. The acceleration on the car improved highly. I don't feel to hesitate a lil as I usally do. It really gets the car moving from a stop and also through the gears. Here goes the best part I loved most. I have an issue with the stock rs and I dunno if you have noticed this. When driving and you reach close to around 4000 rpms the car seems to have a lose of power. It seems to also sound like the car is struggling. I noticed that the struggle I once felt was gone. At around 3800 rpm's you could feel the gain of power that I once did not feel and you feel it all the way to the 5500 rpm's. (I say 5500 cause I shifted) So overall I really do give this intake a two thumbs up.. Oh ya by the way when driving and punching it the car just roars!!!!! To amazing for just being a simple bolt on!

my car is MAP based, late 99 to 2004 used map sensor (manifold absolute pressure, or something like that). in 2005 it was switched back to maf. the early maf had severe failure problems which is why they changed it.

its not really a big deal, just less gains from an intake. i think theyre longer lasting than the maf.
