What harness and ECU?

What harness and ECU?
I need to find an ECU and harness for my engine to run on the dyno; so I don't have to pull out my ECU and harness. I have a 98 2.5 RS. Will the ECU and wiring harness from a forester or legacy GT work? Also, I called a junkyard and found an ECU for a 98 2.5 but no wiring harness, he gave me this number and said to check it. 22611AD810 What does that number mean and are all the DOHC 2.5 ECU's the same? Please let me know....someone!

Bump.....Isn't there someone that could direct me to where I can find this?????? This is going to offer the biggest help in developing the dual intake manifolds...... Help...please....

Well, i believe thet the dohc wiring harneses for the 2.5 (forester too) are the same, and as for getting one, i would call lachute subaru and ill ask for you. I think this would be a good place to get one because Ive been in Ben's private garage and there are wiring harnesses all over the place form old engine swaps. So Ill call tomorrow for oyu to see if they can loan you a wiring harness for a 98 DOHC 2.5 RS and ill get it sent for you if they have one.
If they dont have one they can tell me where to go for sure. So ill call ben tomorrow and bring it up to him and make sure we come up with something to help you out. They might sponsor my car as well as the place that is building the engine, so this is in their best interest . So Ill check it out tomorrow and get back to you.
Ill ask about en ecu aswell so you dont have to spend money to buy one ok? Wish me luck!

Hey Dan. Thanks a lot for that. That would help me a ton if you could get them to lend me a setup. I will return it or I could buy it off them if they don't need it for something. This is going to be quite a project. I can't guarnatee that we're going to come up with anything better, but with the engine dyno and all his experience, we should not have too much trouble. Let me know as soon as you can Dan. Thanks. Also, keep me posted on your car. I want to know how that Unichip tuning is turning out.

Ill keep you posted, ill give Ben a call when i get up. The pistons are the last thing, everything else is done. It only takes so long becuase they have never made 11:1 pistons for the rs before so they are taking they're time with them. Later.

I called Ben and he said he knows he has one for a 99 (damn), but he thinks he can find one for a 98 2.5 RS as well as the ecu. He diddnt have a problem with lending it out at all, he sees it as a great reason to lend it to you. So he will get back to me when he finds one.
Oh yeah, my friend has a 98 2.5 RS and he is doing a 2.0l turbo engine swap, so if Ben dosent find one, i can get my buddies for you! I totally forgot! But he hasnt started pulling the engine yet, it might be a while, but hopefully ben will find one and I can get it to you ASAP. Sound good?

Hey Dan. I was just wondering if you had gotten any info on the wiring harness? I need to get one soon. I just took all my parts down to the engine shop. Once Cobb gets my damn cams back I am going to flow the heads with the stock intake manifold to get some baseline numbers. I still need that wiring harness though, so let me know if you can find me one.
