Engine/Power - non turbo (All non turbo Imprezas) Who needs a turbo when you have 2500cc? Cams, intakes, exhausts, etc. The 2.2L and 1.8L Subies are cool too.

Exclamation Weapon R question

Hey pipl!!! I am planning to buy WEAPON R intake in couple days, I am just wondering if you guys know about the Factory waranty on my 06i.
I heard from pipl that some intakes violate the waranty, so could you plz help me to find out about the Weapon R intake?
Thanks in advance.

well for starters, the weapon R intakes are not CARB legal so if you just happened to get popped by a cop then he could issue you a state ref ticket. but as far as warranty, if you ever go in to get warranty work done, just take the intake out and put the stocker back on. its not to difficult and doesnt take very long either.

Basicly if the part you put on your car caused the damage its not warrantiable, otherwise it doesn't matter. IE if your AC goes out they can't blame your Intake and they have to replace it, on the other had if your AC goes out and you changed pullies they could easily say its not covered.
