Weapon-R or Cobb Intake?
for the cobb cai, i had a lot of questions for it.. well, i know it wouldn't fit my 06 n' all but the whole cai question. It said that it sucks air on top of the fender well and somewhere else. Also, they stated that because of that, you won't ingest water if you go in a puddle. Idk,.. i'm a little confused how that works..

How do the intakes sound. I heard one on a 2.2L OBS and it was REALLY LOUD i asked the guy what exhaust he was running and he said it was the intake.
I've ran my Injen both as a cold air and short air. At idle i didn't notice much deffence in noise, but after 3000 rpm they can really start roaring. The short alot more so then the Cold.
Check out this Cosmo intake. Folks are really starting to catch on to this one as well:

BTW, does the COBB intake fit the '07 2.5i ?
If so, which model is it? I see 3 different ones listed.

Well this is my Weapon-R http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xjOtiJkQKE8
sounds great at WOT! and also it doesn't hisss at start up. When you push on it alittle while driving it has a spool up type sound and it cool cuz some of my friends think i had a turbo hahaa. But really the Weapon R has a great throttle response.

Well the Weapon-R headquarters is out here in South San Francisco so they can make a custom cold air for you. But mine cost me $230 (this was b4 i found out about the headquarters)
isn't cobb coming out with a CAI for the 2.5i's this summer?
and a quick question about the injen CAI, i heard that it can be converted to a SRI?
can someone tell me how this works?

Anyway, COBB and other companies don't make any intakes for 2.5RS/i that's 05. The only other company is Injen. You can buy ebay knockoffs, but they require some modding and welding or something. But from what I understand, if you can pull it off, it's a great deal. On NASIOC, I found thread that showed significant power increase, with the use of a dyno, same car, same day, same dyno. I know it was more than 7 or 8 hp. I think it even went over ten. I'll try and find the thread. But, if anyone else does before me, feel free to link.

Here is the thread.
