Engine/Power - non turbo (All non turbo Imprezas) Who needs a turbo when you have 2500cc? Cams, intakes, exhausts, etc. The 2.2L and 1.8L Subies are cool too.

...top end work?

The common consensious is that the Perfect power is a great tool for tuning. At least right now. Supposedly Bill from i-Speed has finished his remap for the ECU but is in testing and marketing. So 2 months from now, supposedly, we'll have a reflash.

cheers

has any one found a good piggy back that wont get learned around yet? every one i have read reviews on said "worked great for the first week then back to normal". would you guys recomend the rallitek one then take it down to a dino shop and get it tuned?... I didnt want to jack the tread but there are many threads like this with no resolution other than intake mods and safc's dont work.

What I am running

I have a stock 98 and a modified 01 - Best guess from seat of the pants is I am close to 200.

STd 30,000 Mile block - Ported heads - Ferra Valves, Cobb Stage 1 cam, Borla Header. 11 lb flywheel, Under drive pulley, Ground Kit, Iridium plugs, K&N Filter in Opened up stock manifold feed by Stock scoop. Local build 2.5 inch exhaust to an eBay muffler - It’s loud but I can drive in police mode fine

My next purchase is the Perfect power piece and I also plan to do the iSPeed Re Flash once they have done a few more. Plan to raise rpm to 7500

I have sealed up the radiator for better air flow and put additives in the coolant to run as cool as possible - Hot here so that seems to cause worst damage

Drive mine daily and shift when the rev limiter goes - Beep Beep

On the right stretch of road it will all but redline in 5th and I have 22b wing and Greddy air dam

I want NOS or Turbo at times but sound so sweet from 5k up

Its a nice daily driver, I have to reset ECU about once every 6 weeks , but its getting better, The reflash should cure most of that, mostly from Flywheel I would buy 14lb if I did again just for that reason - 11lb rev's real fast

Braggin ?

We guess It was taken wrong

The objective of my post was to give you an idea of what I have been running and what I thought I was pulling horsepowerwise

I have a direct seat of the pants comparision -- My 98 is stock and 165 hp

My best guess is about 200 on my 01 based on the info I gave.

the most recent Subie sport has a similar article on comparable set ups

Sorry I tried to add a little humor - geez
