ok. well i just got my 2.5" piping done. i decided i wanted that "race car" sound, so i opted not to use a resinator. i currently LOVE the way it sounds. when you start the car, it blurps real loud, then melows out to where u can barely hear it. at cruise is the same way, not extremly loud. but now, when you give it gas, the higher the RPMs go, the louder it gets! (i'll try to get a video of the car, or a sound clip)

and it is very bassy! which is what i love more then hearing a damn honda on crack! lol


here are some pics of my system. you will notice the factory 2.5" cat pipe! yes, 2.5"!!! for some odd reason subaru decided to cut corners and reduce the pipe to 2" after the cat to the rear. once you go full 2.5", you too will fall in love with the new sounds! and one side effect that i did notice, the intake gets even louder! lol.

why would this get stickied? there is nothing in here that hasn't already been talked about in other threads...and im pretty sure if the 06 mod thread isn't a sticky this wont make it up there either...

i've been told that people can hear me 2-3 blocks away, when i'm driving NORMALY, imagine when i really step on it
