Engine/Power - non turbo (All non turbo Imprezas) Who needs a turbo when you have 2500cc? Cams, intakes, exhausts, etc. The 2.2L and 1.8L Subies are cool too.

Are these the same.. Pulley question.

Question Are these the same.. Pulley question.

I'm wondering if the power steering pulley in a 98 Subaru Impreza and 93 Subaru Impreza are the same size? Anyone know?

Probably. I used a lightweight pulley designed for a WRX in my L.

He's talking about the power steering pump pulley...I think you are referring to the crank pulley.

Naw, I talked to a dealership and they told me that they are different. From 93-95 they are the same. 96-98 are the same. And 99-01 are the same. So they go be every couple of years.

they are almost the same, i did put 04 wrx's lightweight set into my 91 legacy before, they work fine with my 91 legacy belts. so 13 years between these 2 cars still can fit, yours should be nothing much different.

dealer says 02 impreza wrx wheels wont fit my 91 legacy too. offset is not right. and size too big, but they still can fit into the legacy with out scratching anything. so mostly dealer only follow whatever the books or computer tells them the spec is not right, then they will say will not fit.

I've decided not to go with changing the power steering pulley. I've got the alternator and crank pulley from Unorthodox racing(and they discountinued their power steering pulley anyway). Thanks anyway guys.
