Supercharging my 01 RS, Pros-Cons

2000 That Is Music To My Ears!!!!
I am lookin to do something like that SUPER CLEAN one, I have access to both a metal fab shop and a CNC machine shop, so that is no problem to get some nice lookin stuff. How hard is it to replace injectors? What type of super should I get and how much should I be looking to spend?
Another n00b question what do you mean when you say 8 degrees of timing, I dont understand.

Well, my not so clean setup has set me back.....
Supercharger M62 $250 - Ebay
Custom Crank pulley $320 -Machine shop
370 cc injectors $100 - Ebay
Walbro fuel pump $100 - New
Rising rate fuel pressure regulator $60 - Ebay
Intake filter and custom intake and supercharger intake - $200- Ebay and custom
Custom Mounting bracketry and idler pully bracketry - Free cause I did it. If I paid someone, $400. Some bracketry I have reworked 4-6 times.
Misc $250
Intercooler $250 (now sold), getting a FMIC.
Clutch $200 (Kennedy 6 puck, RS pressure plate, Forester Flywheel) new and Ebay
Total > $2000
Unless you are VERY hand in fabrication and general motor work, and even then, be prepared to spend ALOT of time working it all out.

Correct, a centrifical style supercharger can create a boost spike. Unless you have some sort of bypass valve to direct that pressure spike into the atmosphere. Otherwise that excess pressure is going to stay right inside your engine and *BOOM* it's all over. All it takes is one missed gear. A turbocharger seems to be a way more reliable form of forced induction. Granted, you will need to upgrade many key components in your stock engine to handle either form; turbocharged or supercharged.

2 superchargers = crap......
Long story, but it don't work werth beanolas..... Not even with good grammer and spelling would it work. A LOT of money and yes it would work.
So back to one supercharger, a 9" crank pulley, OBX headers, and eventially some big port heads....

yeah its the 1990-1994 2.2 block and heads. 1991 block and ? heads to be exact.
I have a full 9" diameter pulley coming soon! Should give me another 2-3 psi of boost for about 170 whp and 200 torque. I am definatley going to dyno it for tuning and proof.....
This weekend I dragged down at Woodburn dragstrip. Has a "little" nitrous assist. Hit 13.7 at 99 mph. The little nitrous was about a 75 shot.

Here is a mediocre photo, some changes since the picture...
Currently I am 180 whp at 10 psi (Dyno Dynamics proven) , but now am up to almost 13-15 psi (when all boost leaks are fixed) which should be good for 210-230 whp...
Here is the diary of my setup. Warning, its HUGE.....

Update again....
Went from 155-160 at 8 psi
Then with the big crank pulley up to 180 whp at 10-11 psi.
Then I fixed the boost leaks. So I am at 12-14 psi now. That should be good for over 200 whp. Not bad for a 15 year old block with 220k plus on it!
