Not to far from my house there is a 2002 impreza t.s. with 91000 miles for sale at a used car dealer also its a 5spd with no rust or anything like that. It looks bone stock doesnt seem to be even a cd player in it, But it has a new radiator and stuff in it. The price is 7050. Now what problems wouwld i be looking for?I am new with subaru's although my friends own sti's.Any help would be very greatfull.

what is the Kelly Blue Book value?
..i have an '02 TS with 82,000
no rust..subaru solved that by treating the body panels on newer cars (including 2002 ts)
ive had things like the drivers side window gear wear out or something as well as some more serious stuff..
oil pump
clutch
new battery
overall though i love my car and considering what i ask of it..it has held up well
i also must note that this was..as far as i know, the first year subaru produced the new body style..so our cars are more prone to unpredicted issues
they say its more fun to drive a slow car FAst than a fast car slow
i know i drive my car harder than most wrx owners ive met
enjoy it if u get it

 

sounds like you got a nice car...timing belt will need to be replaced soon, also subaru oil pumps NEVER EVER go out.
