I have a 2001 2.5RS, 4eat, AEM SR Intake, 39,000 miles odo. . I was looking at Turbo Kits, (Ludespeed etc.) I wanted to get your sudgestions on should I save the money or turbo it..?..? I mean its alot of money but alot more power. I was thinking that with the money I put into it so far and a turbo kit I could have bought a WRX, got that ish painted to WRB and Prodrive P1 wheels in Gold too.

 

i dunno if i would turbo it i have a 94 with a 2.5 rs motor. i mean how long do u plan on keeping ur car????? our cars were not made for turbo tho u can but u would also want to upgrade on alot of internal parts so u don't blow ur motor. if i were in ur shoes i would keep it n/a or i would just upgrade to a wrx or sti motor. and sale the rs motor to a guy with a 1.8 or 2.2 or part the motor out. keep the gc it's a rare bread we brothers need to keep the gc alive regaurd less what u do but like i said its just my opinion

 

yeah, by all means i'm keeping it for another 3-4 years so I can have it through college. I was thinking how the hell would a BOV sound on a 4eat ? lol. I think I might just do a swap if I end up doing it ill post pics up.

 

swap would be more fun and do it to a 5speed cause the AT bov dosen't sound the best.

 

If you have the time, money, and patience do te swap... give you an excuse to get yourself a 5 or 6 speed too.
