How many cam shaft sensors are in my EJ25 (GC8 '95 2.2L) engine? I've successfully located the crank shaft sensor at the front of the engine, but i've also found two other sensors on the outer-side of the engine, and four others (two on each side) toward the top where the headers are located. Which sensors am i looking at? According to my chilton's there should be a MAF sensor somewhere in the area (once again no idea how many of these the engine has). Any help would be great. Thanks.

 

your ej25 2.2L?

the 25 in ej25 stands for 2.5L. do you have a 2.5 or a 2.2? if its a 98 rs, its a 2.5L dohc. there is a cam sensor for each cam.

MAF is part of the intake.
