There are crossmembers if thats what you mean...

But as for the subframe question, I don't know

Nope the RS does not have a subframe like the WRX. I did the ALK on my RS and had a bunch of extra parts left over which are supposed to be used with the subframe. Luckily this makes the RS ALK less parts to install and less weight, but not by much.
