I see that a lot of you are having trouble with Misfires. There is a recall out on 2.5 97-01. The misfire reading is a misprogram of the ECU. I recently discovered this after I nearly killed myself trying to figure out the hell was going on. Check with your local dealer. There could be a complete rebuild in store for you. They did mine!

Do you possibly have a link to the recall notice? The only recall I am aware of is the recall on the MAFs. Any additional info you could give would be nice! Thanks.

 

Just call your local dealer and tell them the vin#. You might be surprise of what they come up with.
