Pulley Question
I was planing on buying the MRT pulley set (which inclueds replacing all the pulleys and belts(shorter Belts) for my 1998 rs so i have 2 Questions
1. will i have to make any changes to my timing ?
2. I have heard pullys wont give the power gains worth the price you pay for them, is this true?

It won't affect timing, and the effectiveness debate is one that has been raging for some time. If you can do the work yourself, go for it if you think it will work. I would say it's not worth the money if you have to pay for an install however.

be careful on the compressor pulley. there is a part that holds the belt tensioner and it is made of plastic. it's very easy to crack. you probably already know this, but just looking out for ya
i say go for it if you think it'll make you happy. i live in ohio, so i just leave my compressor belt off until summer. even then i barely use A/C. i get way better gas mileage, too. witht he belt on, i'll go about 360 miles on a tank of gas. with it off, i get about 410 miles on the sme sized tank. these are all highway miles, of course.
good luck
