whats up guyz...i was wondering if there are any mods that i can do to my 2000 rs beside a turbo that will give me a big boost...what i'm wondering is if there is something other than a turbo( cause i dont have the money right now) that will give me a pretty good hp gain..thanx

 

they are on the way within the next couple weeks..i was thinkng of a greddy exhaust and a injen cai what do u think?...but other than that stuff is there anything other than a turbo?

 

What kind of added power will those mods give him? How much do those things cost and do they effect reliability at all?

 

how does the greddy evo with the injen intake sounds on the impreza?

 

While cost may make it out of reach for jpepps, does Vishnu still do the ECU re-flashes/up-grades for the rs? Or are they just doing stuff for the WRX now?

 

I have already looked over vish's site, didn't see anything for subbies other then the wrx, which is why I mentioned it/asked. Personaly I don't have a need to e-mail em' since I don't own an Impreza and would be "leary" about changing the ecu or doing any mod's (at least until the warranty is up!)
So the only reason for the statement was cause jp asked about getting more hp out of his rs..........

 

just get the turbo and stop worrying about other crap, its all not cost effient...the turbo is they key point. hmm but i can help otherwise. the exhaust you bought is in vein, because when you get the turbo your gona need another exhaust system....id go for light weight pulleys, for 130 bucks you get 8-16 hp to the wheels it claims, and you rev faster than hell

 

true, but if you get a turbo back exhaust, they usually come with a midpipe and a muffler, no? it could work i guess, but like with mine MRT give me the whole thing in one package
