I guess like every thing else its ok if you use it in moderation and the correct way... not alot of people have the copasity to find what way is right and also not alot of people (me included) are big on moderation!!
I heard some they are ok run 50 shot nitrous on RS, don't matter if wet or dry. In this case I owned a RS light modded, equal lenght header that takes any nitrous harm. I recent purchase a ZEX nitrous kit that suppose to ran my boi RS-T. But since someone crash his total his RS-T he passed it to me.

I guess i never liked using it because it is a depleatible sorce of power... meening.. I am too lazy to track down a place to get the bottel refilled when ever it goes empty. that and i have just seen so many people say "oh no i will just put a small shot on it and use it only at the track" then "well XXshot is just too tiny ill just bump it up a little" then "im going thru about a bottle a week" to "well i guess it might have been a bit too much (as the car is smoldering by the side of the road)"
remember a sneeky peet is a gatway drug!!

I run a 55 dry shot on my 00 RS. Know a bunch of guys who have run their RS's with nitrous. 65 is about the max on the stock block though. Anything over and you're risking blowing your engine. The only time you could blow is if you bounce off the limiter. Fuel cut will **** you over. Though used properly, I've seen a guy run nitrous on his rs for over 80k miles.
Nitrous
I've used nitrous on my 1997 Outback Sport for 59k miles. Had it installed with a turbo kit running no more than 5psi of boost. Max nitrous I ran was a 70hp shot (No, don't do this). The OBS liked a 60hp shot the best. No problems at all. I have over 150+ runs on the dragstrip with this setup, at least 55 of these were with nitrous. Since the turbo has been removed, I have run nitrous probably up to 11 times or so on the track. No problems whatsoever.
The most important thing I had to monitor how the nitrous was running was my EGT (Exhaust Gas Temperatur) gauge. I typically would setup my fuel (Hyper Fuel SFC) controller to add fuel until the EGT was right where my car ran while stock, or a little cooler. If you were to do this with a 60hp shot of nitrous, I do not foresee any problems using it for the entire time you use it. I ONLY used 93 octane with a stock fuel pump and stock fuel injectors. I used a digital air fuel ratio (Jumptronix) gauge as well. I don't think these are made anymore.
Monitor your EGT and make sure it is close to what your car runs off the bottle and use 93 octane or higher. These are the two most important things too do in my book from my experience. I am no tuner though. Good luck!
