Engine/Power - non turbo (All non turbo Imprezas) Who needs a turbo when you have 2500cc? Cams, intakes, exhausts, etc. The 2.2L and 1.8L Subies are cool too.

Next path for the 2.5

Next path for the 2.5

Well its been a fairly straight forward process up to this point. My GD chassis 2.5 is equipped with a PDM style cold air, K&N panel filter, Borla header, Random Tech cat, 2.25 cat back with a Magnaflow muffler. What ought to be next on the quest for power? I assume that its all going to get fairly expensive after this point, but I'm looking for suggestions. What would you guys look into next? Cams/valvetrain? FI? Forced induction via nitrous? Fuel upgrades? What would be the best path to take in anyone's opinion? Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.

forced induction will yeild highest power per dollar output, but very high initial investment.

cams may be good. AFC and fuel upgrades maybe. headwork is good.

Start with cams, like the Cobb street/mild cams or equivalent. Good healthy gains both now and later should you go to a turbo.
