MY00 Cold Air Intake recommendations
Decided on getting a cold air intake, have 2 brands to choose from, if you know of anything better for my '00 2.5Rs, please post! Budget is around $250

The rave seems to be with the OBX intakes that are sold on ebay. Basically an Injen that costs less than half.
Or just get Injen or Cobb, if you want to maximize power. If your looking for a little kick, look into the Ganzflow intake. It keeps the stock airbox, which will keep you from losing any low-end torque.
Ganzflow is the shiny bent piece. Please excuse the awful looking DIY.

I went with a short ram AEM.
Do you really lose low end torque by removing the stock airbox? Never heard of that. The engine definetly responds differently with this intake on. Seems quicker at higher rpms
