But what he said, everything but the tranny (and gauge cluster and pedals) should be identical.
no the speedo/tach/gas left/temp guage cluster, the one right in front of you... On automatics, it shows you what gear your in (At least I thought it did) but on manual's it doesn't. The gauges your talking about should swap/work fine between auto's and manuals.

well, mine is an 02 ts wagon, so it has those automatic gears (P,N,R,D,etc). Ya, its on the left side of the dashboard with all the fuel and temp guage. Good god, that dashboard is ugly. Anyone have any better ones?

I don't know. I believe that it'l fit physically, for that matter, I believe a 05 sti gauge would fit in there physically but the wiring would need to be changed. I doubt it'd be super hard, if you get the wiring diagrams for each, but it would be work. But between the 99-01 and 94, I don't know if the wiring is the same or not. I'd start a thread and ask, somebody's bound to know! But I'd post it in interior/exterior/lighting!
