Engine/Power - non turbo (All non turbo Imprezas) Who needs a turbo when you have 2500cc? Cams, intakes, exhausts, etc. The 2.2L and 1.8L Subies are cool too.

intake install help

i'm installing a short ram intake on my '98 2.5rs coupe, and i duno where the MAF goes and how it hooks up to the pipe. my friend said i need some sort of adapter but im not sure

If the intake you got was for an RS, it probably came with an adaptor (~3in diam. w/ a flange on one end w/ 4 screw holes to hook up the MAF). If you got a 'universal' intake, chances are you will have to do some cutting to make all the stuff (pipe, MAF, and filter) fit. And I've heard of people making their own adaptors, but I think the ~$5 they cost is well worth it.
